No rules different than would be acceptable in standing around talking with a group of civic, well-bred, well-mannered, courteous, polite, dignified, people. Be civil. Don’t lie. If you claim another lied, show evidence (quote them). Add your own opinion or experiences. And take everything with a grain of salt. (I am not suggesting you add salt to your diet…

May I also suggest that a Poster should not try to gain acceptance, then flip into a Walking Advertisement Board for all the usual things we know that dont work ( i.e. the Usual Spammers! ).

A message from the creator of alt.support.impotence – revised We are experiencing difficulties with a poster here in alt.support.impotence. Alec Grynspan. He makes unsubstantiated charges, then refuses to respond. He’s asked to supply documentation or quotes to charges, he refuses. He’s asked questions directly, he refuses to respond. He’s posted under a different name, writing to himself attempting to justify his position. He claims people have emailed him directly and made him ‘promise’ not to respond; without explaining why. Rather than just answer, he claims people should check DJ News for the information. Nowhere in DJ news can his charges against me be found. And he can’t show you where because they don’t exist. He admits he is a very sick person and I ask you to bear with us until he gets help, stops making unfounded charges against me and others, or just leaves. Because of the number of new people coming to this group, I am doing my best to answer his false charges, but he refuses to reply, claiming he ‘promised people he would ignore me,’ when in fact, he can’t answer the multitude of charges against him nor substantiate the ones he makes. He is taking my time, and the time of others, that would be better suited helping people here. Alec Grynspan has been warned repeatedly about making personal attacks on people in this newsgroup but has continued, (*1) and has a vendetta against me and other leaders in ASI. I will not stand by while he fabricates stories and lies about me, or others, and tells people to not listen to, or trust me or others. He refuses to prove or quote his charges. He refuses to address answers to his charges. He just makes more unsubstantiated charges. He’s gone over the line long ago, especially with his fixations about me. Sensing trouble from the onset of his entering the group (and having dealt with him and his style in the past) I kept copies of his statements. In sorting them I found a multitude of discrepancies which he won’t address. With concern about others, I questioned him about his self appointed label of ’scientist,’ ‘expert in many fields,’ and his education. When I used my list to point out the errors and discrepancies of his claims of multiple graduate degrees, (*2) he stopped answering my posts and started the present name-calling and false charges. (*3) Statement and charge I made against Alec were with documentation, what he himself wrote. I continually quoted him (and do so now, see footnotes). He knows that charges should be accompanied by quotes. I have documented my charges, he doesn’t because they’re not true. The charges he’s now making against me and others are without merit, without quotes and are outright lies and fabrications. For instance his claim that I tell people not to see a doctor and to avoid having a checkup. (*4) This is not true. He refuses to answer my responses and questions because he’s wrong. In his continuing lies and vacillations, first he says he answers them, then says he doesn’t (*5). Through email from others, and from dealing with him in the past, I’ve found that Alec has a history of dominating newsgroups and was recently run out of another newsgroup for flooding it with dangerous medical advice (*6). Someone in our newsgroup tried one of Alec’s chemical concoctions and got in trouble. Alec claims it’s not true, then, caught in a lie, admits it is true (*7). Alec makes no secret in his attempt to dominate this group. He answers general posts as though they were directed to him. Even makes subject titles attacking me and posting it under a different name (*8). No telling if, or how long, he’s been writing praise to himself under different names. He solicits people to email him directly and he’s attempting to harvest ‘clients’ to his own group (*9). He further accused me of stating he was NOT a sick man (*10). Again he has nothing to substantiate this charge and shows no quotes. It’s beyond me why he would say that, other than more attempts at discrediting me. I’ve always maintained, and it is very obvious, he is sick. I’ve quoted a number of his own statements showing what terrible shape he’s in, both physically and mentally. He himself admits to being a sick person. His body chemistry obviously effecting his mental chemistry (*11). Be careful of this person. How much is overgrown ego, which prevents him from admitting error, and how much is just bull shit is for you to decide, just as those in other newsgroups have. The man is as sick as he says. His opinions and statements can be dangerous (*12). He is overbearing and egotistical, writing incessantly about himself. The man is capable of any duplicity, up to and including, signing on as another user to sing his own praise to himself. Be very careful taking his advice. Be careful accepting his self-appointed credentials. Do not be lured into trying his untested hormonal drugs and treatments. If you think you have a hormonal problem, we suggest you do not treat yourself or take the advice of untrained people in this newsgroup and experiment. It can be dangerous. Read and follow the AACE guidelines at http://www.aace.com/clin/guides/hypogonadism.html. Print them out and take them to your doctor if you think you might have a hormonal problem. — *2* — He starts out with one degree, works his way to over six degrees, then worked it down to just having sufficient course work for either a math or physics degree. But no sign he has either one. My official degree was in math/physics, but I have acknowledgments in the others I got my first degree in physics/math/chemistry/biology/etcetera in 1968. Most of the stuff in my first degree, my second, third, etcetera. Math and Physics (1st degree), Electrical Engineering, Computer Science. The degree math/physics is one where I have sufficient coursework for
